Irish Distillers Reports Results for H1 FY26

February 19, 2026

Irish Distillers, a Pernod Ricard company, and producer of some of the world’s most awarded and successful Irish whiskeys, has today reported total net sales declining -7% in the first six months of the 2026 financial year (ending December 2025) against the backdrop of a business environment which currently features contrasting market conditions in different regions.

Outside of the US, Jameson, the world’s bestselling Irish whiskey, recorded net sales growth of +4%.

Jameson continues to build its global footprint, with double-digit growth evident across key emerging markets including India (the second largest market for Jameson), Nigeria, Turkey, China and Poland, along with acceleration in select mature markets including Germany.

With sell-out stabilising for Jameson in the US, the brand demonstrated resilience by beating the competitive set in the market* which remains soft.

Commenting on the results, Nodjame Fouad, CEO, Gold Brand Unit – Aged Spirits & Champagne said:

We are encouraged by the growth of Jameson across multiple new, emerging and select mature markets, demonstrating a resilient performance compared to the competitive set and cementing progress achieved so far in our strategy to globalise the brand.

Recent developments in international trade policy in key growth markets, including the EU-India Free Trade Agreement and tariff reductions in China, are very welcome and will undoubtedly support market acceleration when fully implemented.

We continue to introduce more consumers around the world to the taste of Jameson and our broader portfolio of Irish whiskeys. We are confident for the future success of the Irish whiskey category as we continue to grow its share of the global whiskey market.
