Life at Irish Distillers
Our Culture and Values
We cherish our company culture as a vital ingredient of our business success. Our shared spirit is guided by our values. Because special things happen when Real, Remarkable and Responsible people come together.
We are REAL.
We are a company that is built on people – warm, friendly, respectful and inclusive people. Being REAL is the personality of our company, simply put its how we go about things here at Irish Distillers.
We are REMARKABLE.
Being REMARKABLE is what sets us apart from others. The things we do in Irish Distillers are truly Remarkable. We transform water and barley into the world’s leading Irish Whiskey and work tirelessly to ensure our products are on every shelf in Ireland and around the world. Our success is possible thanks to our Barrelmen who are passionate and enthusiastic.
We are RESPONSIBLE.
Our business is only sustainable if we all are all Responsible. Being RESPONSIBLE is all about doing the right thing – whether it is for our consumers, our business, our environment or the world around us. The choices we make today will shape our business for the next generation of barrelmen.
Diversity & Inclusion
We actively support a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can bring their whole selves to work and feel confident that they can share who they are with their colleagues.
We are proud of the strides we have made in recent years in further embedding Diversity, Equality and Inclusion across our business and this effort being acknowledged by the Irish Centre for Diversity with our Investors in Diversity Silver award in 2022. We recognise that we all have a crucial role to play in creating a diverse and inclusive workplace that enables our business to thrive. We want you to be part of our richly diverse & inclusive workplace and welcome everyone’s voice and commitment in making this happen.

“My advice to other women interested in STEM is simply to be fearless in pursuing the career you want, even if it’s in a traditionally male sector. You will be surprised by the strides that you can achieve. I have been supported by Irish Distillers every step of the way, and even picked up a Cork accent.”
“We pride ourselves on open conversations with our teams; our agencies and our partners and have created a space where every person can contribute in a unique and meaningful way. That feeling of security is the key to unlocking creativity”
“Throughout my time with Irish Distillers, I have felt nothing but respect, inclusivity and friendship. I am truly grateful for the support I have received during many personal and professional milestones over the last 14 years. I hope that this maturation process of mine will continue here for many more years to come and I can continue to contribute to our ongoing success”
“I joined the D&I peer network to educate myself on what D&I really means and to help raise awareness of Irish Distillers as an inclusive and fair workplace for all.”
