The newly launched Irish Distillers IT Graduate Programme offers bright and ambitious IT graduates the opportunity to work with the world’s leading producer of Irish Whiskey.
Graduates will partner and support the Irish Distillers business, working as part of a wider European based Pernod Ricard IT Solutions team. Based in Dublin 4, the IT Solutions team are responsible for the design, development and deployment of technology solutions that drive business effectiveness and innovation. Our IT team work in an agile and fast paced environment, partnering with internal business customers to develop, enhance and maintain IT solutions that are critical to the efficient operation of our business. Working on the latest platforms and technologies, Graduates will get the opportunity to shape and apply technological solutions to real world business problems.
Our structured and challenging 2 year Programme offers real responsibilities, planned learning, rotations and project work. You will develop the soft and technical skills required to become a future leader, while getting exposure to business-critical projects and access to deep expertise.
You will also have the opportunity to develop skills in a variety of areas, such as: project management, digital sales and marketing, software development, platform management, IT architecture, business intelligence and business engagement.

About IT Solutions
The IT Solutions team works closely with the business on Digital Transformation plans at both a local and global level which leads to the design, development and deployment of solutions to improve business effectiveness and innovation. Employing 42 people across Dublin, Sweden and the UK, the team is divided into five key areas:
- Business Relationship Management; Engaging the business to transform business needs into an IT Roadmap
- Digital, Sales & Marketing; Digital, CMS, Ecommerce, Salesforce
- Business Information/ Intelligence; Architecture, business intelligence and innovation
- Back Office; Business analysis & project management
- Spirit Management Platform
The IT Graduate Program will include a series of rotations working across the areas of Business Information/Intelligence, Back Office and Digital Sales & Marketing value streams. You will be encouraged to experience different areas of the business and to contribute to transformation projects that support our Group strategy.
We will provide you with a supportive and structured learning environment. Graduates will then be placed on structured rotations within the team working across the different functions within IT Solutions. Graduates will have the support of a mentor & buddy framework, as well as opportunities to work on projects alongside the IT management team, who will be accessible and supportive throughout the 2-year programme.
Our blended learning programme with help you develop both your technical and leadership skills through a combination of theoretical learning and on the job experience.

The Recruitment Process
Our applications are currently now OPEN and will close on November 30th 2021. The interview process will take place December 2021 and January 2022 and the Graduate Programme will start date of Autumn 2022, after you graduate. We encourage you to apply as early as possible as we will be screening on an ongoing basis between September 2021 to November 2021. The selection process involves;

Will interviews be face to face or virtual?
We will complete 1st and 2nd rounds virtually by MS Teams. The final round interview maybe face to face on site at Dublin, subject to government guidelines. We would love to meet you in person ( if possible! )

What is involved in the video interview?
During the virtual Microsoft Teams interview, selected candidates will speak with a member of our Graduate Recruitment Team. It will be a non-technical interview that centres around your career ambitions, work, college and life experience. This will take no more than 30 minutes. It is also an opportunity for you to get to know us too.

Am I able to apply for other Irish Distillers Graduate Programmes?
You, can apply for both programmes. However, if you are offered and accept a position on the IT Graduate Programme, you cannot proceed with your application for another Programme. If you choose not to accept an offer, you can progress an application for the International Graduate Programme. Please note, the closing date for the IT Graduate Programme is 30th of November 2021. The closing date for the International Programme is in 2022.
Do you have minimum academic entry requirements?
No. However we would like to understand your projected degree grade (overall result: GPA on the online application) so that we can fully assess your application and take everything into account. We look for people with the right attitude, who fit our unique culture, so we will consider everything.
