Our ‘Brand Homes’ visitor experiences at our Midleton Distillery in Cork and at Jameson Distillery Bow St. in Smithfield, Dublin, are at the heart of the Irish Distillers family.

Each year we welcome half a million visitors from all across the globe through the doors of our old Distillery buildings, where we connect our visitors to our world class whiskey production story and our captivating history and heritage. Within the walls of our Brand Homes, the story of Jameson Irish Whiskey comes to life through our world leading distillery tours, cocktail-making classes, premium whiskey tasting sessions and blending classes.

There has never been a more exciting time to join us on our journey. In 2022, Jameson became a top 10 global spirit brand and our Brand Homes teams continued an exciting period of growth and evolution as we expanded our offerings within Experiences, E-Commerce and our exclusive Cask Circle Membership. The Jameson Distillery Visitor Experience in Dublin retained its position as the World’s Leading Distillery Tour for the 5th year in a row, while in 2021, we commenced an exciting upgrade at our Jameson Distillery Midleton which will transform our visitor experience and will deliver an exceptional, world-class experiential offering to the next generation.

In Spring each year, we build our teams as we open our doors to old and new friends from across the world. Throughout January / February 2023, we embark on our campaign to welcome our next generation of Jameson Brand Ambassadors, Bar Staff, Retail staff and support staff. Our roles are both full time and part time.

We are looking for down-to-earth, enthusiastic and charismatic people who can bring our great whiskeys and buildings to life!

When will applications close?

Applications will remain open until we find the best talent to deliver our ambition to welcome our new team in March. We are running assessment centres over January and February.

Should I apply before the closing date?

Yes, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible. Our recruitment teams will be reaching out to applicants as you apply so we can have an initial chat to see if there is a mutual connection!

How do I make an online application?

Upload your CV by following the link to the job you are most interested in and upload your CV. If you have never applied to us before, you will be asked to answer some very quick questions to help us understand your interests.  It’s a straightforward process.

What are the steps involved in the online application?

Once you have activated your account, you will be asked to attach and upload your CV, add your personal details and your work & education history. Don’t worry if you don’t have an education background. Our job is all about people and we’re looking for people who can engage and entertain our guests!

What questions will I be asked? Do I need to prepare my questions in advance?

There is no need to prepare any questions. They are quick fire questions and should be completed in less than 1 minute!

Can I save my application and return to it at a later date?

You can go back to your application at any time. It is saved in real-time as you add the information so you don’t have to press ‘save’ as you go along. We have no visibility of your application information until you press “Submit” at the very end, once you are happy with everything.

What type of hours are available?

We work shift patterns and do our best to work around your life and the hours that you are available. We need a mix of full time and part time people. Many of our applicants are full time students looking for extra hours to support them through college.

Our only ask is that when exams are over, you will need to be able to move to full time during the Summer as this is our peak period.

What’s involved in the 1st stage via MS Teams?

Our initial chat is with our Recruitment Team. This will be informal and will be a meet and greet to see if you have the customer service, communication skills we need and also we need to make sure this opportunity is right for you. This is a great opportunity to ask some more questions!

What is the pay?

We offer €12.90 per hour with a lunch allowance of €6 per day

What type of contract will I get?

We offer a variable hours contract with hourly rate pay. We try work around your situation. For people who are able to work full time, we’ll consider them for full time roles. If you are only able to work 10 hours a week, then we’ll consider you for part time. We need a blend of talent!

If I’m working in the bar or shop, will I get involved in other activities?

Yes! The great thing about our opportunities is that they offer lots of variety!
